Why is indian food so high in calories?
I LOVE INDIAN FOOD, but it seems to be really fattening! So I started this summer Diet where I had a healthy breakfast, a salad for dinner –a real salad, not that plane lettuce crap– and a boca Burger –bun less– with this indian dish. Basically they are small doubt balls filled with spinach. I got them from an indian grocery store and i love them, after two weeks I noticed that I was gaining more weight than loosing even though I was eating healthy and exercising three times a week –40 minutes of Pilate’s–.
After looking at the back of the box I noticed that their serving size was 2 per serving at 176 calories per serving. Even worse I ate five of those per day for lunch!
This isn’t the first time my diet has been ruined by indian food. There is a delivery restaurant that serves amazing meals but whenever I eat them I also gain weight, what’s going on!?!
A lot of Indian food contains coconut milk and other really fattening components.
